The Renewable Fuels Association will launch a new Premier Associate membership level Oct. 1, giving non-producer companies across the ethanol value chain expanded opportunities to engage with RFA’s producer members, leadership and industry priorities.
Premier Associates will have expanded access to RFA leadership and activities, including Board of Directors meetings, board calls, fly-ins and other board-level events. They also will receive board-level communications and priority access to RFA staff expertise on policy, technical, regulatory and market development issues.
The new Premier Advisory Council will provide members with a channel to offer strategic input to RFA’s Board of Directors on emerging policy, regulatory, technical and market trends, as well as industry challenges and opportunities.
RPMG, Pilot Company, Novonesis, Marathon Petroleum, CTE Global and Fluid Quip have signed on as Premier Associates for the new membership year.
RFA said the new membership level is intended to strengthen collaboration between ethanol producers and companies providing technologies, products, services and expertise to the industry. RFA will remain producer-led, with governance and voting authority residing with producer members.
