The Renewable Fuels Association will host a series of networking events, educational sessions and industry discussions during the 2026 International Fuel Ethanol Workshop and Expo, scheduled for June 2-4 at America’s Center in downtown St. Louis.

RFA President and CEO Geoff Cooper said the association plans to use the event to highlight its work supporting the ethanol industry and to help attendees navigate policy, market and technical developments affecting renewable fuels.

The association’s activities will begin Tuesday morning with a Women’s Pilates Power Hour, followed by a luncheon for members of the Veterans for Renewable Fuels initiative and an RFA Member Reception at 2 p.m.

When the trade show opens Wednesday at 11 a.m., former St. Louis Cardinals player and Baseball Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith is scheduled to appear at the RFA booth, No. 901. Later that day, members of RFA’s Young Professionals Network will attend a special event featuring agricultural social media influencer Laura Farms. She also is expected to visit the booth at 4:30 p.m. to discuss efforts to educate broader audiences about American agriculture. RFA also plans to hold a private reception for its board of directors during the event.

Several RFA representatives are scheduled to participate in educational sessions throughout the conference.

Robert White, RFA senior vice president for industry relations and market development, will speak during the Tuesday morning Ethanol 101 session on the development of U.S. ethanol policy and markets. He also is scheduled to participate in a Wednesday afternoon discussion focused on California’s ethanol market.

During Wednesday morning’s general session, Troy Bredenkamp, RFA senior vice president for government and public affairs, will participate in an executive roundtable discussion.

Tad Hepner, RFA vice president for strategy and innovation, will moderate a Wednesday afternoon panel examining fermentation performance and sorghum utilization.

Justin Schultz, RFA director of environment, health and safety, will lead two presentations during the conference. His Wednesday session will focus on preventing low-probability, high-consequence incidents in ethanol plants, while his Thursday presentation will address risk reduction at the ethanol-rail shipping interface.
