The Renewable Fuels Association today announced the addition of two companies, CFO Services and Zero Industrial, as new associate members. Their specialization in incentives and credits and industrial low-carbon electrification, respectively, will give ethanol producers access to cutting-edge financial tools and clean energy technologies that support ongoing decarbonization and operational efficiency efforts.
“We’re excited to welcome CFO Services and Zero Industrial to RFA,” said
RFA President and CEO Geoff Cooper. “CFO Services strengthens our
members’ ability to capitalize on the financial programs that enable
clean energy investments, while Zero Industrial offers practical
electrification solutions that help producers operate more efficiently
and sustainably. Their addition to our membership reflects the broad
range of knowledge and collaboration driving today’s renewable fuels
industry.”
CFO Services has spent more than 30 years helping companies identify and
secure federal, state, and local incentives across the United States.
The company’s Federal Incentives team focuses on major commercial and
industrial programs at the federal level—such as R&D, energy, CHIPs,
and fuels, including PWA compliance, while its Multi-State Credits
& Incentives team collaborates with state and local representatives
to capture both statutory and discretionary incentives. CFO Services’
proprietary technology platform streamlines the capture, compliance, and
management of incentives, making the process easier and more efficient
for organizations nationwide.
“CFO Services is excited to join RFA and be part of the ethanol
community,” said CFO Services Vice President Nick Panko. “As producers
are working through the current 45Z Clean Fuels Credit and PWA
compliance, we look forward to partnering with RFA members and moving
the industry forward.”
Zero Industrial develops, finances, and delivers industrial
electrification projects that replace fossil fuel combustion with proven
technologies such as thermal energy storage, heat pumps, and waste heat
recovery systems. By electrifying heat and steam production, Zero
Industrial helps facilities lower their carbon intensity and produce
more competitive fuels. The company funds the development and
construction of each asset and sells heat or steam under a heat purchase
agreement.
“Zero Industrial is honored to join the Renewable Fuels Association and
partner with producers at the forefront of the clean energy transition,”
said Ted Kniesche, founder and CEO of Zero Industrial. “Our
Heat-as-a-Service model removes the need for upfront capital investment,
allowing producers to electrify and decarbonize their heat and steam
generation with proven, cost-effective technologies. Together, we can
accelerate the shift to cleaner and more competitive industrial
facilities.”
